Picking the right flake blend can make or break the look of a finished floor – it's the difference between a garage that looks like an afterthought and one that looks like it belongs in a showroom. We've restocked our decorative flake lineup with nine colorways, covering everything from bold and graphic to soft, natural stone-inspired tones.
Here's what we've got on the shelf right now:
Orbit (FB-310) - 1/4″
A high-contrast mix of cobalt blue, black, gray, and white. Orbit brings energy and movement to a floor. A strong pick for garages, showrooms, or any space where the client wants the flake to be a focal point rather than a background texture.
Domino (FB-411) - 1/4″
Classic black, white, and gray in a balanced, high-contrast blend. Domino is the reliable, timeless choice. Works with nearly any wall color or trim, which makes it one of our most versatile blends for commercial and residential jobs alike.
Outback (FB-517) - 1/4″
Warm tans, browns, and black with white accents. Outback reads earthy and grounded. A great match for spaces going for a natural or rustic feel, like basements, workshops, or homes with warmer color palettes.
Wombat (FB-616) - 1/4″
A tight, monochrome blend of charcoal, gray, and white. Wombat is understated and clean. Ideal when the client wants texture and depth without a lot of visual noise. Pairs well with modern, minimalist spaces.
Nightfall (FB-715) - 1/4″
Deep charcoal and slate grays with minimal white breakup. Nightfall skews darker and moodier than Wombat. A strong option for auto shops, industrial spaces, or anywhere a darker floor tone hides tire marks and daily wear better.
Juneau (FB-4205) - Hybrid
A soft, light blend of whites, pale grays, and sage tones with fine linear flecks mixed in. Juneau has a more refined, terrazzo-like look thanks to the hybrid blend. A great fit for retail spaces, showrooms, or residential floors going for a brighter, elevated finish.
Agate (FB-4107) - Hybrid
Light gray and white base with subtle blue-gray accents and fine linear texture. Agate leans cool and polished. The hybrid mix gives it a more sophisticated, stone-like appearance compared to standard 1/4″ blends.
Stony Creek (FB-806) - 1/4″
A soft, neutral gray-and-white blend with gentle variation. Stony Creek is a dependable neutral. Light enough to brighten a space, textured enough to hide dust and daily grime between cleanings.
Creekbed (FB-716) - 1/4″
Warm grays, tans, and rust-brown accents in a busier, more organic pattern. Creekbed has some of the widest color range in the lineup, which makes it forgiving to work with and a strong choice when a client can't decide between warm and cool tones.
1/4″ vs. Hybrid:
Most of what we carry is standard 1/4″ flake, giving a classic, evenly-textured broadcast finish. Juneau and Agate are hybrid blends – they mix in finer particles and linear flecks alongside the standard flake, producing a more refined, terrazzo-inspired look. If a client wants something that reads a little more upscale or unique, those two are worth pointing them toward.
